Foster Prize Exhibition, ICA Boston
21 April - 9 August 2015
Press Release from ICA Boston

For the 2015 Foster Prize, kijidome has turned the ICA’s gallery into an exhibition space and its South End space into a residency studio for visiting artists. Two different, successive exhibitions (and several formal and informal performances) will be on view at the ICA. Both assemble a diverse group of artists to explore the theme of limbo: of intermediate states, of being between conditions. Many of the invited artists exist in and out of Boston, visiting as teachers, or commuting outside the city to teach. Consequently, the invited artists hail from all over—Boston, New York, Chicago, Prague— reflecting kijidome’s position that one’s peers extend beyond geographical boundaries
